Engineering-Ingegneria Informatica SpA, a leading Italian IT System Integrator, and ScientiaMobile, Inc., a US company offering the popular open-source WURFL framework commercially, have today announced an agreement between the two organizations. According to the agreement, Engineering will become a commercial adopter of ScientiaMobile’s device detection products and services, and deploy newer fully-licensed versions of WURFL software and repository on its systems and on the systems of its customers that adopt WURFL.

Engineering is the reference for services on connected devices and thanks to this agreement we strengthen the capabilities over mobile to provide to our customers,” said Gianluca Polegri, Director of Engineering’s Broadband Media Services.
