This Black Friday and Cyber Monday saw a different level of mobile E-Commerce traffic than last year. Most notably, the average mobile engagement on E-Commerce sites was higher overall as well as beginning Black Friday peak traffic a few days earlier.
Generally, this means that advertisers and E-Commerce sites should be prepared to market to mobile phones or optimize their sites earlier for mobile. Websites, especially E-Commerce sites should prepare for more consistently heavy load-bearing traffic around this time of year as well. We recommend using a load-balancing software that can segment traffic based on mobile devices.
